Biography
Joe began racing go-karts at the age of sixteen. In his final year of racing karts he was offered a chance to drive the GSR Kartway IMCA Northern SportMod. In the five weeks he raced that, Joe earned a heat win and two top five feature finishes.
In ’07, the team purchased a 2001 GRT to race in the Fastrak Crate Late Model series. In his first full year of racing Crate Late Models, Joe earned 8 top five feature finishes, two heat wins and a feature win.
In ’08 and ’09, they stayed in the Fastrak division. In those two years, Joe racked up 29 top five feature finishes, 14 heat wins(including one at the famed Eldora Speedway), and two feature wins.
2010 was the year the team decided to make the jump to the high powered WISSOTA Late Model series. Joe earned the Rookie of the Year title at Shawano Speedway and picked up his first Open Late Model win at the 141 Fall Classic.
2011 was a trying year for the team, picking up 13 top ten feature finishes and two heat race wins. Joe finished a solid sixth place in points at Shawano Speedway.
